Rio Ferdinand shared his thoughts on racism in football.





- I noticed it when I played. When everything goes well for you, everything is in order, people do not pay attention to the color of the skin. But the moment you do something wrong or something doesn`t work out for you, for example, you don`t score a penalty, you are perceived as black.


The tone changes, the perception changes, the way people see you. You could see it in the way the boys [from England] were treated after the penalty shoot-out [in the Euro 2020 final]. Before that, they were heroes, everyone was shouting their names, - said the former Manchester United player.
