Former NBA player Ben Gordon was arrested early Friday morning and accused of beating two McDonald`s security guards in River North.


According to Chicago police, the disturbance at McDonald`s was reported around 3:28 a. m. Gordon, 39, punched and knocked two security guards to the ground. One of them is 29 years old, the other is 21. Both victims refused medical help.


Gordon is charged with two misdemeanors.


On October 10, Gordon was arrested at LaGuardia Airport in New York after punching his 10-year-old son in the face as they prepared to board a flight to Chicago. It was reported that during the arrest, the basketball player injured airport employees and police.


Gordon has been arrested several times in the past. The ex-Chicago player was detained on suspicion of assault and robbery in 2017. He was also arrested for driving a car with false license plates and falsely setting off a fire alarm at his Los Angeles home.
