The Americans lost to the Netherlands in the 1/8 finals with a score of 1:3.


It`s frustrating, we definitely feel like we contributed, but credit has to be given where it`s due.


They [the Netherlands] have some great players and they made us pay for our little mistakes.


I think we`ve gained a lot. I believe that we can compete with some of the elite teams in world football.


Overall, we are proud of what we showed. We are also disappointed, but it is also a good feeling-disappointment. What we achieved was not enough, " the Arsenal goalkeeper said.
