Williams` pilot Alex Albon explained how he is trying to change the way he communicates with his team via radio.


In the past, Albon has often been criticized for being too aggressive in his radio communications.


When things aren`t going well, I try to talk about it. When a situation gets out of control for reasons beyond our control, I don`t think we should just talk about it for the sake of talking. You should always try to act constructively.


In my opinion, there is some difference in mentality between Red Bull and Williams. There are distinctive cultural characteristics. I`m still trying to figure this out. It is clear that I would like to interact with the team in the most constructive way and for now I continue to look for a middle ground.


Part of me realized that aggression is not the best way to get the best out of the team, we need to look for other ways. Like I said, it`s about understanding the culture, the mentality of the team, and making sure you`re all working together and pulling in the same direction, " Albon said.
